I have little yet valuable experience in the field of design.

+ I have been studying for a HND in Interactive Media at the Northwest Regional College since september 2007. There, I studied Graphic Design (mostly with Adobe Photoshop), web design, audio-visual techniques, 3D modelling as well as basics od computer science, networking and copyright and licensing laws.

During this time, I made 6 full websites, 16 works of digital art, 6 videos (2 of which I only added a soundtrack to), 2 3D animations and 1 Flash animation.

In January 2009, I was hired by the Foyle Language School in Derry to work on the website of their future offices in Belfast (known as Titanic Academy of English). In 40 hours, I did a good dozen pages. This was primarily done as a one-month work experience for the Northwest Regional College but I was offered to continue the work on a freelance basis.

You can see here a screenshot of a web page for the Titanic Academy of English :

Also in my second year of HND in Interactive Media, in a team with two fellow students, I created a logo and am working on a website for an Irish language acquisition charity. Sadly, the client did not allow me to publish the works anywhere on the Internet.

+ In parallel, I have joined a Comic Art and Digital Illustration course at the Verbal Arts centre where I completed three comic pages for a OCR assessment. Then I made a few illustrations and coloured the works of fellow artists for a comic anthology printed and distributed at the 2D Festival in June in Derry.

I am now a member of the 2D Collective and working now on a proper comic for a new anthology.

+ My first video - Halloween in Derry - has been shortlisted in June 2009 for the Northern Ireland Skillset Media Academy Awards in the Best Further Education Project category and ranked up at the second place.

+ Recently, I have been hired to design the covers of a series of detective novels yet to published.
